For additional security you can enable 2 Factor Authentication - also known as Multi-factor Authentication - on your profile.

  • Click your name in the top right corner.
  • Select 'Profile'
  • Scroll to the 'Two Factor Authentication' section and click 'Enable'
    • You will be prompted to enter your password.
    • You will then be given a QR code to scan.

Please note: 2FA is immediately enabled when you select this. Be sure to make a note of the recovery codes an keep them somewhere safe, then scan the QR code with your authenticator app, e.g. Google Authenticator.

The next time you log in you will be asked to enter the authenticator code in addition to your password.

What is 2 Factor Authentication / Multi-Factor Authentication?

It helps secure your account by requiring multiple credentials in order to log in - rather than only using a password, which could be stolen. Once you have entered your password, a code will be generated by, or sent to, a physical device that you have enabled.

That way, if your password is compromised, your account is still secure from anyone who does not also have the authenticator device.
